Biography
Born in Santiago de Cuba, Aliuska is a specialist in traditional and Afro-Cuban dances. In 1999, she
joined the Conjunto Ballet Folklorico Oriente, the most prestigious traditional Afro-Cuban dance
company in the province of Santiago de Cuba, a region rich in the influence of the many Haitian
immigrants.
Since 2007 she has been living in Paris teaching styles like: rumba, afro-cuban dances, estilo cubano
or afro-haitano.
