Ricky Ortiz

Raised in Puerto Rico Ricky was exposed to salsa from an early age, especially as a son of a hardcore salsero.
Salsa was with him every single day, everywhere. Salsa reminds him of his childhood and culture.
He has been teaching for 7 years in Puerto Rico. He learned the dance as an adult.
Teaching means for him being able to share his own passion.
Ricky is passionate about social dancing and he wants to pass that on, make it easy for their students.
His mission is to make them understand that dancing is not that hard.
You just need to connect with the music, dedicate some time and you’ll make it!
