We finally have a structured way to supoort the amazing social dancers, expose them and reward them. Let’s all have fun with this Jack’n’Jill type of competition. It will take place on Friday, Nov 15, 2024 in the Auditorium. It will be objectively judged by international teachers and judges.
2 STYLES: SALSA & BACHATA
2 levels:
-amateur : students, improvers
-pro: advanced, instructors
Qualifications: (day time)
- during the qualifications, randomly selected couples dance in a circle, changing – each woman dances with each man; (approx. 1 minute each)
- followers and leaders will be judged separately by our judges
- Qualification results will be announced immediately after the scores counting.
Semifinal: (day time)
- The jury will choose the 7 best followers/leaders – randomly selected couples dance in a circle, changing – each woman dances with each man;(approx. 1 minute each)
- followers and leaders will be judged separately by our judges – the evaluation criteria are: dance technique, lead/follow, musicality, styling.
- Semifinals results will be announced immediately after the scores counting.
Final: (evening)
- The jury will choose the 3 best followers/leaders – randomly selected couples dance in a circle, changing – each woman dances with each man;(approx. 1,5 minute each)
- followers and leaders will be judged separately by our judges – the evaluation criteria are: dance technique, lead/follow, musicality, styling.
Awards:
1st place: cups and diplomas; VIP PASS EL SOL FALL 2025
2nd place: cups and diplomas; SALSA FULL PASS EL SOL FALL 2025 or BACHATA FULL PASS
3rd place: cups and diplomas; PARTY PARTY PASS EL SOL FALL 2025

To participate in the competition, you must have a PASS for elSol fall edition – for participants of the competition PASSES are discounted -30% (VIP PASS, SALSA FULL PASS, BACHATA FULL PASS OR PARTY PASS)

in the e-mail please, enter your name, surname, country, information whether you have a pass and send us your photo.
In the return e-mail, if you do not have your PASS yet, you will receive a -30% discount code for your pass.
The purchase should be done by applying through the website (elsolfestival.pl).
Please use the promo code you will receive with the confirmation of the acceptance of your application.
The PASS must be purchased within 21 days of submitting your application (deadline falls on 30th September 2024).
ATTENTION! Any delay in keeping this deadline will result in crossing you out of the Stargate Shows participant list.
ATTENTION! Sharing the Competition -30% promo code or using the Competition discount by a person who, as a final decision, will not participate in the competition, will result in crossing out the whole group from the participant list. The discount applies only to dancers who will participate in the competition.
The discount for participating in competitions does not combine with other discounts or special offers.
If a participant is already in possession of a different type of PASS which has been bought before his/her application, it will be changed into Competition PASS (70% of VIP PASS/SALSA FULL PASS price on the application day).
In such a case, depending on the amount that was initially paid, it may be necessary for the participant to pay the remaining amount to reach the 70% of the price of the PASS appropriate for the day of his/her application.
If the initially paid amount was higher than the 70% of the price of the PASS appropriate for the day of participant’s application, he/she will be able to use the excess amount as a discount for buying a pass for the next edition of the festival – excluding the Early Birds deal as well as other special offers.
Competition Pass is not subject to regular resale rules. The Competition Pass is registered at a higher discount, which means that if a participant is unable to attend an event then they have two options
-sell the pass to another participant who takes part in the competition
-selling the pass to a participant who is not participating in the competition, but in this situation a surcharge is required on the price of the pass in the regular sale or sale with the standard group discount.
Registering for the competition involves acceptance of the above regulations.
