Estamos En Competencia is a first project in the history of El SOL dedicated exclusively on competition dancers, their coaches and professionals dancers. We’ve been creating the biggest festival in the world promoting the Caribbean culture by inviting the biggest names in the dance and music community for 20 years now. We always set out to deliver the best quality of experience to you and now we would like to focus our efforts on developing the young generation of dancers.
Estamos En Competencia, in other words BECOME A WINNER with El SOL means 8hrs of intense training with the biggest authorities from the entire salsa and bachata world. This year your coaches will be:
JESSICA PATELLA – began dancing disco at the age of 5 and won her first Italian Championship at 6, maintaining the title for four consecutive years. By age 8, she expanded into hip hop, Latin dance, ballet, and modern jazz, earning national titles in hip hop and jazz and joining the Italian National Dance Team.
She studied salsa under renowned choreographer Fernando Sosa, performing across Italy and internationally. Jessica was featured as a brand ambassador for Deha, appearing in ads, a hip hop video clip showcased at Pitti Bimbo, and a fashion show alongside Kledi Kadiu and Ambeta Toromani.
From 2006, she studied at M.A.S. (Music Art & Show) and then graduated in classical, modern, and contemporary dance at DanceHaus in Milan under Susanna Beltrami. She continued performing with Fernando Sosa and joined his elite dance company Tropical Gem in 2009 at age 14, touring globally and winning three consecutive world championships in Las Vegas (2016–2018).
In 2018, she launched her solo career, winning top prizes at major international competitions such as Salsanamá, Pasos Libres, and the Ultimate Latin Dance Championship.
Today, Jessica Patella continues to travel the world as a solo artist, performing and teaching at global dance congresses.

* Estamos en competencia gives you access only to these 8hrs of special training. Regular classes and parties are NOT included.
* Dancers are welcome from the age of 10, underage participants must be accompanied by a guardian.
